ANSWERED PRAYERS AT NEW HEIGHTS

During our first camp of the summer, which kicked off on Monday, June 8, we saw God answer that prayer. Three young people gave their hearts to Christ for the first time, and three others rededicated their lives to the Lord to live wholeheartedly for Him.

We are rejoicing in what God has done. These are more than numbers to us. They are young people whose lives have been touched by the grace of God.

We were blessed to have Pastor Ryan White ‘14 from Clinton First Wesleyan Church minister to the youth throughout the week. His messages challenged campers to consider what God wants to do in their lives, to forsake sin and follow Him fully, and to stand by the grace of God even when facing peer pressure.

And God moved.

We believe what happened at camp is a direct answer to prayer and a testimony to the grace of God working through His servants. Thank you for being part of this through your prayers.

We do not take your prayers lightly. Every student, every ministry opportunity, every service, every camp, and every open door depends on the grace of God. As you pray for KMBC, you are praying for the work God is doing in and through this ministry.

One of the ways we are seeing God answer prayer is through New Heights Youth Camp.

New Heights is a ministry of Kentucky Mountain Bible College, and each year, hundreds of teens come to our campus through this program. Camp is full of fun, friendships, games, worship, and memories that last long after the week is over. Many campers tell us that New Heights is one of their favorite camps of the summer.

But what matters most is the spiritual emphasis. Our prayer is that God would use New Heights to speak to young hearts, draw them to Himself, and help them follow Him with all their hearts.

We are also grateful for the many people who helped make camp possible. Camp directors Colby ‘26 and Olivia ‘25 Stephenson led the way with dedication and care. Austin Shuck ‘17, along with his mom, former KMBC faculty member Carla Shuck, and others, led worship throughout the week, helping to point hearts toward Christ. We also thank every KMBC staff member, counselor, alumni volunteer, church group, and young person who invested in these campers’ lives.

At Kentucky Mountain Bible College, we long to see God impact lives for time and eternity. Through New Heights Youth Camp, we are seeing Him do just that.
