Serving in Missions

KMBC is all about preparing students for ministry. Many KMBC graduates have gone forth to serve wholeheartedly in missions. Here are just few brief snapshots:

Shushan RichardsonShushan Richardson is a 2011 graduate of KMBC and is a missionary to Berdyansk, Ukraine. She is doing language study and works with women’s groups, kids clubs, and orphanage ministry. Shushan is currently in the states visiting, and hasn’t returned yet because of the turmoil in Ukraine. Prayers for her and her safe return would be greatly appreciated.

Bill & Beth RyanBill and Beth Ryan are ministering in a remote area of Honduras known as La Mosquitia. They are doing language studies and are ministering to the people of La Mosquitia in various ways.

David & Rachel KerneyDavid and Rachel Kerney are missionaries in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, along with their daughter Leah. Their son Micah is currently a students at KMBC. Rachel is a graduate of KMBC. The Kerney’s have worked in church planting, children’s Bible clubs, small groups, and other ministries.

Jorge & Laura VacaJorge and Laura Vaca minister at Taylor Christian School in McAllen, Texas. Laura Vaca is the daughter of the late Gene and Carlene Light, who faithfully ministered at KMBC for many years. Besides working in the school, Jorje Vaca has a soccer ministry to the young people  of the area.

Sarah Fortner is a 2013 graduate of KMBC and is currently ministering in Northern Ireland through a program sponsored by Nazarene Theological Seminary. Sarah is working in house churches and various other outreach ministries.

Andrew and Morgan Street are missionaries to India. Andrew is the son of Mr. David Street, a professor at KMBC.
