While students at KMBC, Ross Foley and Brittany Dunn met and were later married in the summer of 2011 in the Helen Mathews Luce Chapel. Both graduated together this past this May with honors. Prior to graduation and throughout this past summer, Ross and Brittany had been serving as interim pastor of Woodsbend Community Church as Pastor Bud Angus continued to recover from a roofing accident. Ross and Brittany Foley graciously accepted the church’s offer to take on the role as Pastor of Woodsbend Community Church.

While at KMBC, Ross had ministered in a local church as a youth pastor. Brittany had worked with children in both Sunday School and Children’s Church Settings. They also enjoyed traveling on KMBC choir tours and Ross had traveled for the school as a camp counselor - all of which has helped prepare them for the ministry into which God has now called them.

During their time at KMBC, Ross and Brittany learned to trust God to lead and provide. Jeremiah 29:11, Brittany’s favorite verse, attests to their confidence in God’s perfect plan for their lives: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Ross’s favorite verse serves as testimony to the calling God has placed on his and Brittany’s life: “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”- Timothy 4:1-2.
