Senior Spotlight: Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson Prison ministry, mission trips to Honduras and Ukraine, president of the missions cabinet … a PASSION for Missions! These are just a few of the things that stand out to Sarah Richardson as she considers the last four years at KMBC. Sarah has been a studious student, applying much time in soaking up the wealth of information presented in the classroom. Although Sarah could list many lessons that she has learned while at KMBC, the most important thing she has learned is that God’s grace is sufficient. No matter the project, no matter the ministry, no matter the trial - God’s grace is sufficient.

God has instilled a passion for missions within Sarah’s heart. In the short term, following graduation in May, Sarah plans to work full-time in the KMBC admissions department until God places her on the mission field. She waits with anticipation to see what God has in store for the path ahead of her. She takes confidence in Isaiah 41:10. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” What a promise for those who put their trust in Him!

Sarah has enjoyed many memories with her fellow students. Many would describe her as one who actively enjoys God’s creation, a creative poet, and as one who is dedicated to the Lord. Some of her more interesting memories include her appearance in the fall drama as a plane hijacker, a pie being thrown in her face, and a pet caterpillar named Friedrich Olaf!? But those are stories perhaps best told in person. …
