Spring Convocation 2011

“This is Thy will, I know- That I should holy be, Should let my sins this moment go, This moment turn to Thee. O might I now embrace They all sufficient pow’r, And nevermore to sin give place, And never grieve Thee more!” – Charles Wesley.

Dr. Eldon Neihof preaching in Luce ChapelWith many seeking and minding the Lord, the last service of spring convocation concluded Friday evening, March 4th. Dr. Eldon Neihof preached from Ezekiel 22:30 – “I sought for man.” Dr. Neihof exhorted the congregation to be men and women of purity, of purpose, and of prayer for the Master’s use with passion and power in the Holy Spirit. The service ended with a reverential season of prayer and worship.

Throughout the week, Dr. Neihof has unapologetically proclaimed and demonstrated the necessity of living a holy life, the need of entire sanctification, and the grace of living the Spirit-filled life. Through the Spirit’s moving, over half a dozen testified to being entirely sanctified, several to being re-sanctified or taking significant steps, and countless to the Spirit’s drawing and continual molding into the likeness of the Savior.

From burdens rolling, baggage falling, and bitterness melting, the Kentucky Mountain Bible College community has much rejoicing and praise to give unto the Lord. The campus expresses its gratitude to those who lifted the students, faculty, and staff in prayer throughout this revival week.
