Fall Revival 2009

It has been the desire of many students' hearts, it has been fervently requested at Friday Prayer and Fast meetings, it has been discussed among friends, and it was the main focus of two midnight prayer meetings that lasted ninety minutes. KMBC is preparing for revival.

For KMBC's Fall Convocation, which is scheduled tRev. Jeff Keatono start September 13, Rev. Jeff Keaton will be delivering what the Lord has laid on his heart. Rev. Keaton is the Senior Pastor of Parkway House of Prayer in Roanoke, VA, where he oversees all of the church ministries. In addition to the ministries within the church, there is Parkway Christian Academy, which provides Christian education in preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school.

Rev. Keaton and his wife, Michele, have two girls, Julianna and Heidi. He also is the son of Dr. James Keaton, who spoke as the evangelist during KMBC's Spring Convocation, 2009.

Dr. Speas has spoken in chapel about preparing for Convocation, urging people to remain faithful in prayer. The week leading up to Convocation will consist of chapel services focusing on holiness and one hundred percent commitment to the Lord.

Although the first date of Convocation is September 13, it is the hope of many that revival will start in hearts early. And although the last date of Convocation is September 18, it is the prayer of many that revival will not end when Rev. Keaton leaves campus.

All are welcome to attend any of the Convocation services. The Sunday evening service will be held at 6:30 PM at the Mt. Carmel auditorium; the following services will be held in KMBC's current chapel (room 201 in Davis Memorial Building) Monday through Friday at 10:00 AM, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
