Phonathon 2013

KMBC’s annual Phonathon has drawn to a close with $40,090 in pledges! Thank you so very much for your pledges. This year 815 pledges were made - more than in any other year previous!

Each night, students, faculty, and staff have given at least two and a half hours of their time to call friends and alumni of the college. These blessings include not only the donations that have been pledged, but spiritual blessings as well. Students and staff have been given many opportunities to pray with people on these calls. “Whether the caller gives or not, it is a privilege to help bear the burdens and feel God come and meet with us through a call,” says one caller.

Although the phone lines went down temporarily Wednesday evening, several students used their cellphones to continue making calls. This inconvenience was also a blessing in disguise, for it provided an opportunity for the callers to gather around and pray for several urgent prayer requests that had come in by way of the Phonathon calls. Praise God for His help and provision in this Phonathon. If you have not already done so, please consider making a donation to the ministry of Kentucky Mountain Bible College.

Eighty percent of KMBC's graduates go into some form of Christian ministry. Your giving helps KMBC send its graduates out as missionaries, Christian workers, pastors, and messengers of God's salvation into the world's whitened harvest fields. Each year the funds that come in from the Phonathon give the college a real financial boost. The additional money generated by the Phonathon helps the college make advances that would otherwise be impossible.

Thanks so much for your support and help!
