happy people :)KMBC welcomed 116 registered students to iLive – KMBC's biggest recruiting event ever! Visitors from all over arrived on campus on Friday afternoon and quickly jumped into the highly-anticipated games! Individuals were divided into teams, and teams were sent their separate ways. Some drove into Jackson for a high-energy photography rendition of the Amazing Race, some went to KMBC's reclaimed mines for a mysterious treasure hunt, and some visited “the Sweetest Gym in America” for a satisfying round of life-sized Candy Land! By the end of the afternoon, each team had participated in all three events and made lasting memories! These afternoon activities were certainly a blast, but the most exciting times of all were the services where God's presence was undeniably real.

KMBC's singing groups and choir worshiped the Lord through ten songs in the evening concert, and the Lord moved in hearts. KMBC's ladies' trio New Hope concluded the service with a powerful song about God's salvation and an invitation to receive that gift. It was a wonderful time of prayer at the front of Archer Auditorium, where many entered a saving relationship with God or decided to go deeper in their current commitments to Him. Praise the Lord for all who made decisions for Christ at iLive!

The Saturday morning chapel service was another special time, where two KMBC students shared their testimonies about what God had done in their lives and how He led them to KMBC and Dr. Speas spoke about the three Hebrew children and their excellent example of full commitment to God. The testimonies and message effectively communicated the theme of the weekend, which came from Philippians 1:21 - “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Once again, the Lord was faithful to minister to hearts, and many purposed to become fully committed to Him and know what it is like to really be “iLive.”

Before the final farewell were the t-shirt and iPod drawings where several visitors won KMBC t-shirts and two visiting students won iPod Shuffles! Travis Johnson, a KMBC freshman, won an iPod Touch for inviting the most visitors to iLive!

While it was sad to say goodbye to all of our guests, we at KMBC are so happy with how the Lord truly blessed iLive! And we look forward to our next event in the fall!
