 New Students 09

Kentucky Mountain Bible College is happy to welcome thirty new students to the campus this fall!

Wednesday, the first day of Freshmen Orientation, included introduction to the KMBC community and a time of recreation and worship at the college's cabin. On the second and final day of Orientation, the new students met with faculty and advisors, registered for classes, and began their adventures of following God's will here at KMBC!

On Friday, in the first chapel service of the semester, Dr. Speas spoke on being outstanding for God. Giving the example of Elisha's great ambition, great determination, and great faith, he presented a challenge to everyone in attendance to be outstanding for God. Students were encouraged to set spiritual goals for the school year and to “pursue them with energy, consistency, and determination.” KMBC is excited as the 2009-2010 school year begins, offering opportunities for new and returning students alike to work faithfully at becoming outstanding for God.
