KMBC Class of 2009
Class of 2009
It was Friday, May 22, the day the seniors had been waiting for, Graduation Day! There was great excitement and intensity. Family, friends and others came from all over to honor the graduating class of 2009 from KMBC. The weather was warm and beautiful for commencement.
This graduating class chose their theme, "The Fragrance of Christ" from the verse in II Corinthians 2:14, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him." They testified to be that fragrance in our world today as God leads and directs their lives.
Dr. Marlin Hotle from Clinton, Tennessee presented the commencement address. He was not a stranger to KMBC or to college students. Dr. Hotle serves on the KMBC Board of Trustees. For five years he served as a college professor and Dean of Academic Affairs at a Holiness Bible College. Currently he is the District Superintendent of the Tennessee District of The Wesleyan Church where he has served since 1992. He spoke on ten things he wished someone told him when he graduated from college and went into the ministry. It had a phenomenal message that impacted both the graduates and audience.
The Class Valedictorian, Mr. Daniel Lorimer, presented a powerful speech on "Change you can Believe in." A speech that gripped the heart of many who attended. It was well prepared and well presented. The world is searching for change. There is a change they can believe in through Jesus Christ.
Kentucky Mountain Bible College is proud of our graduates. We pray God's blessing on their life as they pursue the ministries God has called them to. We ask that you continue to pray for the graduated class of 2009.
Congratulations Class of 2009!
